About Us
With more than two decades of expertise in business analysis and payment systems, Real Time Payment Consultants (RTPC) has established partnerships with prominent industry leaders such as PASA, BankservAfrica, MasterCard, and Visa. Over the past ten years, RTPC has emphasized agile business analysis and project management within the banking and payments sector, dedicating four years to the launch and implementation of South Africa's PayShap initiative in collaboration with major banks and BankservAfrica. Currently, RTPC provides consulting services for both established corporations and emerging payment start-ups, striving to facilitate growth throughout the dynamic payments sector. Since 1998, RTPC’s consultants have developed a robust foundation in banking and payments, equipping them to drive future progress within the industry.
Areas of Expertise
Payments
With over two decades of payment experience—from ISO8583 in 1998 to pioneering real-time payments in 2006, including RTGS and cross-border transactions—we have recently concentrated on ISO20022 payment rails, particularly the PayShap initiative, for the past five years.
Business Analysis
Since 2006, we have collaborated with industry leaders globally to provide Business Analyst solutions to banking and payments sectors, including initiatives like PayShap and other innovative financial products.
Product Ownership
Throughout our collaboration with leading organisations in the banking and payments industry, we have frequently assumed the Product Ownership role for the implementation of IT projects. In the early 2000s, we successfully marketed and managed Postilion solutions from ACI Worldwide to several banks and retailers. Additionally, we participated in initiatives involving MasterCard, Visa, and various other payment products, consistently undertaking comprehensive product ownership responsibilities.
